dassi is an AI browser agent that runs inside the browser sandbox. It can drive any web app your team uses — across tabs, with voice control from a phone — but it cannot read your local filesystem, install software, modify system settings, or escalate OS privileges. Its reach is limited to the browser tabs the user explicitly works in. Unlike desktop AI agents that demand full machine access, dassi has a minimal blast radius — faster security reviews and cleaner endpoints.

dassi runs real multi-system workflows across the tabs employees already have open — pull from one, draft in another, file in a third, from a single instruction. The same agent accepts voice commands from a phone signed into the employee's account, executing them on the browser session running on their main machine. Useful for execs and field teams who want to keep workflows moving while away from a desk.

Conversations, browsing context, and documents stay on the employee's device and your chosen AI gateway. dassi servers handle license validation and the central skill library only. No prompt content, page content, or model output is stored by us.

dassi routes through AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, GCP Vertex AI, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint — including self-hosted Llama, Mistral, GPT, Claude, or Gemini deployments. Prompts and responses go from your employees' browsers directly to your gateway. Nothing transits dassi servers.

Okta, Azure AD / Entra ID, Google Workspace, OneLogin, and any SAML 2.0 or OIDC-compliant identity provider. SCIM for automatic provisioning and deprovisioning is included on enterprise plans.

SOC 2 and HIPAA exist to control how a service organization handles your data. dassi runs inside the employee's browser — prompts, pages, and documents flow from the browser directly to your AI gateway, never through dassi servers. The data-handling controls these frameworks scrutinize most heavily have nothing to apply to in our architecture. The parts that do still apply — corporate security, our limited backend services (license verification, skill library sync) — are built to those standards from day one. Our founders previously shipped the WhatsApp Business API at Meta and worked on Microsoft Word — products where SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR are baseline, not aspirational. We have built for these auditors before. A formal SOC 2 Type II report is on the roadmap, not yet on the shelf.
