The ChatGPT tab can’t see your other tabs
Most people who pay for ChatGPT have a routine they’d rather not describe out loud. Copy the email thread, switch tabs, paste, ask for a reply, copy the reply, switch back, paste it into Gmail, then repair whatever the formatting did on the trip over. The model did its part in about four seconds. You spent the next two minutes as a courier.
dassi takes over the courier part. It works inside the browser you already use (Chrome, Edge or Brave), reads the page in front of you, and can click, type and move between tabs on the accounts you’re already signed into, so the thread, the CRM record and the spreadsheet are all things it can see and change without you ferrying text between them. You still ask in plain English. We built it for people who already think in prompts and are tired of being the clipboard.
Signing in with ChatGPT
When dassi asks which model to use, pick ChatGPT and sign in with the account you already pay for. That covers the model side. There’s no API key to generate and no developer dashboard to find (plenty of ChatGPT subscribers have never seen one, and there’s no reason to start now).
Runs draw on your ChatGPT plan and use GPT, the same models you chat with every day. How far a Plus plan stretches over a day of long runs is something we can’t tell you in advance, because it depends on the job and on whatever limits OpenAI has set that month. What a task needs from the page goes to OpenAI, much as if you’d pasted it into ChatGPT yourself, while the agent doing the clicking runs on your machine. And if Claude or Gemini turns out better at some particular job, add a key for that provider and switch for that one.
Where to start
- After a back-and-forth with a prospect on LinkedIn, ask dassi to log it. It opens HubSpot, finds the contact or creates one, writes two lines on what was agreed and sets the follow-up date you mentioned (how that works).
- Inbox triage in Gmail, phrased the way you’d phrase it to ChatGPT: “Go through my unread, label anything from a customer Needs me, and draft replies to the scheduling ones.” The drafts sit in Drafts until you’ve read them.
- The Monday ritual of opening Stripe, reading off last week’s revenue and refunds and typing them into row 38 of a Google Sheet becomes one request.
- A vendor portal that wants the same fourteen fields you already keep in a spreadsheet. dassi copies them over from the right row and, if you ask it to, leaves the submit button to you.
Saving the ones you repeat
Once a request has come up two or three times (the Friday pipeline update is the classic), walk dassi through it once or write the steps out, and save it as a Skill. From then on it runs when you ask or on a schedule you set. The recurring browser admin page shows what a longer routine looks like.
A few practical limits come with running in your own browser. Scheduled runs need the browser open when they’re due, so a laptop asleep at nine on Monday means the run waits for you. You decide which actions need a yes first; sending an email, submitting a form and moving a deal stage are sensible ones to flag, and dassi pauses on those and shows you what it’s about to do. If a site wants a login you aren’t signed into, it uses whatever your browser’s password manager fills in. Two-factor codes stay your job.
